Accessibility Statement
Staged is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone.
Our Commitment
We believe that gaming and streaming tools should be accessible to everyone. Staged is designed with accessibility in mind from the start, and we actively work to identify and remove barriers that may prevent people with disabilities from using our software.
Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. We regularly test our website and application with assistive technologies and welcome feedback from our community.
WCAG 2.1 Principles
Perceivable
Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
Operable
User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users.
Understandable
Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
Robust
Content must be robust enough to be interpreted by a wide variety of user agents.
Accessibility Features
Here are the accessibility features currently implemented in Staged.
Keyboard Navigation
ImplementedAll interactive elements can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard. Tab through menus, use arrow keys for navigation, and activate buttons with Enter or Space.
Screen Reader Support
ImplementedThe website and application include proper ARIA labels, roles, and descriptions to work with screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
Color Contrast
ImplementedText and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements. We use a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
Focus Indicators
ImplementedClear visual focus indicators show which element is currently selected. Focus states are visible and distinct from hover states.
Reduced Motion
ImplementedAnimations and transitions respect the prefers-reduced-motion system setting. Users who prefer reduced motion see minimal or no animations.
Text Scaling
ImplementedThe interface supports browser text scaling up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Known Limitations
We're actively working to address these accessibility gaps. Here's what we're aware of and our plans to address them.
